NAU at UNC Game Thread

Second straight conference road game for the Jacks. UNC played Texas State tough, and looks much improved. NAU struggled to win at SUU.


I think the Jacks will win, but am scared of this game.

Actually neither a UNC blowout loss or close win would suprise me. This team has some capabilities. The offense is dramatically improved (what a difference a QB makes). The defense has more holes than swiss cheese. To have any success at all, UNC has to start taking care of business at home again. Prior to Downing rolling into town we won some ridiculous amount of games at home - over 90% if I recall. The home field advantage needs to be reestablished if the Bears are going to climb out of the cellar.

How has attendance been in Greeley?


NAU has some injuries at running back - played the normal starting QB at tailback for most of the game on Saturday.

The attendance for the only home game was 7,200. Hopefully they can keep that type of number up - you have to win some games to get the fans to come in Greeley - too many other things to do and teams to compete with.

Our main injuries are on the D-Line. Our best d-linemen has a knee problem and has not played yet this year. He still has his redshirt available so that might be an option.
