A legend. 8x SoCon coach of the year (for comparison... Joe Paterno only has 3 Big 10 coach of the year awards).

One glaring mistake on that list...Coach of the Year. No offense to a fine coach, but this year's COY should have gone to either Huessman (sp?), Ayers or Monken.
Personally, my vote would have gone to Ayers (just threw up a little saying that).

Re: All SoCon Coaches Team Announced
I agree that it shouldn't have gone to Moore. He's a great coach, among the best in the nation at any level, but who didn't expect App to win the SoCon? Ayers Huessman and Monken all took teams with low expectations and made them into playoff teams, or teams fighting up to the last week for a playoff spot.SpiritCymbal wrote:One glaring mistake on that list...Coach of the Year. Agree. While I'm proud for Moore, App was expected to do well. I would have voted for Monken myself.
