'Bout time for the Jets to bring back Richard Todd.

Brady is the best QB that ever played the game. He has zero weapons on offense with the possible exception of Welker. Still cannot stop him.

Three weeks ago as Brady and Manning took to the field to face each other they had near identical TD/INT stats... in the three games including that day Brady has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Manning has thrown 8 TDs and 10 INT.

Its crazy that people today will actually say Manning is the better QB.

I agree, but Brady doesn't whore himself out like Manning (not that I blame him). People just don't give Brady credit because they don't see him as much. I really can't stand the Mannings.

Hogwash. It's way too early to say that. Brady's probably not even in the Top Ten, much less the Top Five. One would have to consider Waterfield, van Brocklin, Starr, Unitas, Staubach, Montana, and Smell-Way before you even get close to Brady.

The only argument one can make is simply by raw passing stats which doesnt account for Manning playing 60+ more games at this point than Brady.

If we take his career average though and calculate using Mannings current pass attempts it comes out like this..

TDs: Manning 390 Brady 387
Yards: Manning 53,837 Brady 52,281

In those two instances Manning is ever so slightly better...

But then we look at this

INT: Manning 196 Brady 158
Playoff W/L: Manning 9-9 Brady 14-4

Using his career win % and calculating to the same amount of games started it looks like this

Manning 137-67 .672 Brady 157-47 .770

Brady holds a 3-1 advantage in Super Bowl wins. And Brady owns the head to head with manning 8-4 including post season.

No sane person can make a legitimate argument that Manning is better than Brady... But please feel free to try.

Brady is the greatest QB of his generation... By the time he is done, he very well could be knocking on the door of each and every player you named....

except Elway.... Elway even right now isnt in Brady's class... Elway is an over-hyped hack.

I don't see how anyone could say someone like Bart Starr is better than Brady. QBs today are matched against tough teams every single week thanks to unparalleled parity in the league, facing much faster, stronger, smarter and tougher defenses. And yet the superstars are still putting up numbers that are exponentially better than old-timey legends like Starr. Plus with how big the NFL has gotten every team has millions of dollars spent on finding the best players from thousands of schools across the nation, trying to find one of the rare few guys that can crack it in the NFL. So you're competing with x20 (at least) as many guys for the opportunity. If the NFL in the '50s-'60s had had any of that going for it, Starr probably would of been just another dude at the time, hell, might not have ever been on a roster.
