Big Games - Week 12

Post by dbackjon »

Lots of big games that will affect seeding, auto-bids and at-large bids this week

The List:

William and Mary vs JMU

JMU needs this to hold onto a seed.
William and Mary needs this to hold onto an at-large bid.

Elon vs Appalachian State

Similar to above. ASU needs this to hold on to seed, while Elon is trying to get an at-large bid

SDSU at SIU
SDSU's only shot at the playoffs is to win out with road games against SIU and NDSU

Wofford at Samford

Battle of the Fords...Wofford loses, tough to get at-large.

UMass at UNH

UMass is probably sitting home after loss to Maine. UNH needs to win last two games to get an at-large bid

Tennessee State at Jacksonville State

Loser sees playoff hopes gone

McNeese State at Northwestern State

Key battle for SLC auto-bid.

Another key game is

Nicholls State at Texas State

If Texas St losses the the winner of the McNeese St/Northwestern St game is in complete control. If Texas St wins and McNeese St wins the Texas St is in control.

Montana should have as much problems with Idaho State as Weber will with Idle U...

Ah, who are you kidding? This is a trap game if there ever was one...

I think playing the Griz within 20 is about as good of a trap the Bengals could hope to manage at this point.

If the UM game is in Poca the score will be 50 something not much

If the game is in Missoula then I really think the score could be 50 something to not much

Maybe UM can save their trap game for the end of the season in anticipation for the 1st rd.

If SDSU wins it will also give UNI the autobid (assuming UNI beats Indiana State this weekend).

don't think that will happen because the 22nd is Griz/Cat. No overlooking that one! :D
