Sac State track coach Kathleen Raske was named men's and women's outdoor track Coach of the Year in the Big Sky Conference. This is her fourth straight COY title in the outdoor women's division.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
