More doom for the Great West.
(I wonder how the SLC will react when HBU tells them they want to bring NJIT with them. )

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

If they want in the Southland, then they better ACTUALLY have football instead of pulling a Corpus Christi and say they'll look at it once they hit a certain enrollment figure (AMCC said 10,000). HBU has a bunch of issues with facility upgrades in order to get in the SLC.
The league would be better off getting UNO in if they decided to can the DII transition (not happening) and add football like they say they're going to do in the next couple of years (no on-campus stadium, but Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park is 10-15 minutes away from campus).
