Once the 20-team bracket has been determined, the NCAA Division I Football
Championship Committee will determine by a coin flip as to whether the winner of the
upper half or lower half of the bracket will be the home team for the championship game.

(don't know what the result of said coin flip was this year)

The home team is the one that's 200 miles from Frisco, regardless of what color jersey they're made to wear.

It's xfl / dodgeball style. Both teams line up at the goal line and run to mid field to get the ball.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
