SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Verlander typically paces himself and gradually pitches faster as the game continues. He's not one of the 100 pitch and gone guys, he is more of a throwback to the work horse pitchers of yesterday.

That is DEFINITELY what I like to see. I'm not opposed to a decent salary, but I'm firmly convinced that agents have ruined the game. They hold teams and fans hostage with those disgusting holdouts, then demand that their stars get pulled early. That's not baseball!
