Navy has accepted a bid to the 29 DEC Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. I'm not sure how important this is given that the FHB has already announced that next year's non-Pac-12 opponent will be BYU. Not sure how that will work out. Last year, the way-early announcement of Army gave way to Illinois after Army failed to win 6 D-I games....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Navy is bowl eligible with their win this past Saturday so yea, they can accept the bowl bid.
