I know there's not much use for a deal that isn't used to determine playoff bids, but it certainly seemes interesting.
Houston holds steady in the #1 spot (not sure I agree with that). What looks funny is that Atlanta jumped SF for #2. Is RPI saying Harbaugh made a mistake in benching Smith?
The only other places where any change happened were St. Louis swapping places with Detroit (21 and 23), sandwiched around Arizona; and Carolina and Philly (27 and 29) doing the same around Cleveland.
The division rankings are a bit of a shock. I guess mid-range strength says something since the AFC South (containing #1 Houston) is only at #3. The NFC North (led by #5 Chicago) is at #1. I suppose that nobody would be surprised that the AFC West is dead last...and I mean DEAD last, as their bottom two teams (Oakland and KC) are the tail end of the entire league, and second place San Diego is at #26.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

No, that wasn't intended as such. But I can see now how it could be taken so. The characterization likely changes, though, as I expect KC to move up following their win over Carolina today.

I didn't think it was, just giving you shit. Still, an oversight and poor choice of words given the tragedy.SuperHornet wrote:No, that wasn't intended as such.
