The Sacramento State Hornets women's tennis team shut out Portland State 7-0 in Vancouver, WA yesterday to complete the regular season 10-0 in conference and enter the conference tournament with the #1 seed. On the day, the Hornets surrendered a grand total of 22 games over the seven matches.
The Big Sky Conference Women's Tennis Tournament is set for April 26-28 at Gold River Racket Club in Sac.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
