Hattiesburg-Oak Grove HS won the MS Division 6A State Championship with a 14-7 win over Tupelo last night. This is the first state championship for the Warriors, led by offensive coordinator Brett Favre.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
