Not a bad place to die. RIP!

After a lengthy mound visit by the pearly gates with St. Peter, Whitey & Harry they all agreed that Roger mason should've been left in to pitch the 9th. Once that decision had been made they all welcomed Jim into heaven. Even the people of S. Philly & their sisters wish you peace today.

RIP

Technically, it was taking Roger Mason out after pitching the 7th. Fregosi took him out to pitch Larry Anderson in the 8th, and since Larry Anderson couldn't throw the ball past me back in '93, he of course turned the lineup over, thereby setting a dead-arm Williams up to pitch to the heart of the Blue Jays lineup, and we all know how that turned out.

Ugh. I'm sitting in the same spot reading this as I was during that game. I'm not sure Joe Carter's ball has landed yet.

Blue Jays were the team of destiny that year. Can't believe the Phightin' Pfhil's let the championship of America's Pasttime go to a fucking Canadian team. I shall never forgive them for that.

Well, the championship was already there - they were the defending champion that year. :coffee:
