One final football game is set to be played at Candlestick Park on 12 JUL, featuring the San Francisco 49ers (yuck!) and (possibly) the Miami Dolphins. 49er's all-time captain Joe Montana returns with a confirmed roster including Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, and Dwight Clark (double yuck!) to face an as-yet undisclosed team headed by Dan Marino. I will ALWAYS be a Whiner-Hater, but I fully expect the 'Stick to be packed out for this last game.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
