The 5k was outstanding. It looked like Cheserek was just waiting to pounce and did so at the 200 meter mark but Lalang was as gutty as anyone I've ever seen. Great race to watch. A great time as well breaking a 30 year old mark set by Villanovan Sidney Maree back in the eighties. Hope Marcus can get the track program back on track soon.

Yes that was one of the most exciting finishes in the meet but the biggest surprise was the performances of the frosh in this meet scoring major upsets in the women's 400 IH and the men's 100m and the 110MH.There should be a award for frosh of the year you agree???

If there was, Ches would get it. He won the 10000 with a 53.17 second last 400 and then came in 2nd in the 5000.
