CSU Head Coach Jamey Chadwell on the Buccaneers' 2015 Signing Class:

"Obviously we're excited about it, and the impact those young men are going to have when they get on our campus. They're going to fill some needs we have. The great thing is that all of them are very competitive and came here for the reasons that we want them to come here for, to have a chance to compete for a championship. We feel like they're going to come in and really push our guys that are here currently to get better. That's what you want. When you go out recruiting, you want to get guys that are better and will push your team to go beyond where you're at. I'm excited about their potential. We're happy about who we've brought in."
On mid-year additions:

"We lost, specifically, some guys on the defensive side of the ball so being able to get some mid-year guys was big. Blake Wilson – the linebacker – and Gerald Turner – the d-linemen. Those were areas that were a big concern so to be able to get them was big. I think you're going to see some of those young d-linemen come in and provide some depth for us quickly because that's a major need area."
On eight signees from South Carolina:

"That's the third year in a row we've had at least six players out of the state of South Carolina. I think that shows, one, coaches in the state are recognizing if they're sending their kids here, they're getting taken care of. Secondly, they're coming to a program that's doing well and winning and they're enjoying their time here. Now, when we go recruit, Charleston Southern has become a place that people say 'I've got to go visit that place.' That's good, and we have to continue that. I think as long as we continue to recruit the state, we're going to keep getting better and better. That allows us to go outside and fill our needs outside the state as well."
Congratulations to all of the CSU coaches who did an incredible job assembling a very talented group.
