First time in her school's history. The play was based on the Philly Special from the Super Bowl. Their coaches are so excited, they think it's ALSO the first time in the entire state. Probably not; that was likely future HOFer and multi-time World Champion Sami Grisafe of the Chicago Force and the US Women's National Football Team, who starred as a quarterback at Redlands High in Southern California. But this is STILL an amazing achievement for a girl who apparently wants to be an all-around football player, something the game sorely needs....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

There's a new Women's Football Hall of Fame sponsored by the WNFC....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
