I don't hate him. He is meh. Great voice. Over-stater of the obvious. He has become more like a figure-head than a prepared announcer. I don't love Smoltz. He's OK, but his delivery is too boring for this game.

Not sure about that, but in the ‘96 WS the road team won the first 5 games before the Yankees beat the Braves in the Bronx to clinch it in game 6.

It's comparatively safe. Deanwood and Minnesota Ave are the stations with most of the shooting and crime scene tape on my daily travel. Lot of murders last year. This year has been pretty tame.
