Good move for NIU.Should get several million more a year from the MWC over what they were getting from the MAC. MAC’s ESPN contract pays them peanuts and has them playing Tuesday-Thursday night games for a month straight at the end of the season. Ruined attendance for most in the conference. Early in the season they're taking road games for $$$ at power programs, then later in the season they're playing Tuesday night games in the cold weather in mostly empty stadiums. Being a football only move means don’t have several million a year in increased travel coats

I know there had been talk about NDSU potentially being a football only invite to the MWC, but apparently the MWC didn’t want to take any FCS schools, and the NIU football only move apparently slams the door on any NDSU to MWC chance. They must be pissed over in Bisonville.
