2000 Yankees featuring Clemens and Canseco

Post by dbackjon »

And yet Yankme fans have the gaul to throw stones at other teams

The only time the two biggest cheaters were on one team together was the NEW YORK YANKEES.

Guess those 1999 and 2000 WS wins don't count....

I was wondering how long it'd be before this thread emerged.

Canseco was a bench guy who came over late in the 2000 season and pretty much rode the pine.

Clemens an under-achieving starter. The Mitchell Report even says Clemens was off he juice when he came to the Yankees and didn't start again until he was re-united with McNamee.

Gonzalez was the star and most important player of the forever tainted 2001 Diamondbacks.

Denial, denial, denial.

Pettitte too.

Probably 2/3 of the Yankees were juicing from 96 on - those are all far more tainted than any other titles since.

Of course it is low. ALLL of MLB was juicing during that time period. However, what fun would it be to admit that when pushing all of your, and especially Travis' buttons, brings me such amusement.

All cheating teams should forfeit their WS titles. So the Yankees are down 3..Arizona 1..Boston 2...Milwaukee 4...etc. So the question is, who should these titles then go to?

Down 3? Don't think so. Who on the 1998 Yankees has ever been named?

According to the Mitchell Report:

Stanton started in 2003 while a Met.
Pettitte used HGH two to four times after 2002.
Knobloch first started using in 2001 as his career was on the downturn. Funny. The suffy didn't help him.

No one on the 1998 Yankees has ever been named.

The only Yankee on the 1999 team named as a user prior to 1999 was Clemens. And the Mitchell Report says he was off the stuff in 1999 (which seems confirmed by his miserable season).

So Joe - the Mitchell Report is gospel?

All of those named were clean up to then?

Do you truly believe that every single one of those players was clean up until they were caught (because not a single one of them came out and confessed, if at all, without first being outted)? That is very naive.

And we thought A Rod only used it a couple years in Texas... turns out that was a lie.... If the assumption with Manny can be that he was caught now even though he tested negative 15 times in the previous 5 years the Sox titles in 2004 and 07 are tainted then ur fucking Yankee titles when any of ur cheaters were on the team are tainted too,... you cant have it both ways....

JoltinJoes logic:

Manny tests positive 2009, negative 15/15 times previous 5 years = Sox titles tainted

Knoblauch, Stanton, Pettite and Co... are accused of using steroids in some years = Yankee titles in years not mentioned are clean

joe, normally, your logic is nearly flawless....this time around, you seem to be playing the part of the scummy defense attorney who knows his client is guilty, but can't admit it...

Other's in this thread have shown that enough Yankees going well back into the 90's most likely were dirty...and their Championships are just a dirty as you imply the 04 and 07 Red Sox WS titles are...

I'm not going to defend the Sox because I now believe Jose Conseco's claims...he's been proven correct time after time after time...and I accept that ALL WS titles from, say, 91 to the present are tainted by 'roids...

So, joe, comes on over from the dark side....accept the truth...

Joe, if we didn't KNOW you were a lawyer before this thread, we'd have all EASILY figured it out by your evasive, legalese answers and logic.

Then, please, by all means, present the documentation you are using in your claim that the Red Sox 04 and 07 WS titles are dirty...since Manny flunked only one drug test, that being while a member of the Dodgers...
