DI Moritorium may hurt those seeking conference affiliations

I have been thinking about the DI moritorium and who it will have a significant impact upon. My guess is that with no movement going on, the DI transition schools that have no conference affiliation will suffer the most. Since the moritorium has shut off the movement to FBS from the FCS, existing conferences will not see members leaving and slots opening up for others. This means that the newcomers such as the University of North Dakota may well find themselves out in the cold when it comes to conference affiliation. As a North Dakota State fan, I am very glad we are comfortably placed in the Summit League and the Gateway! Timing is everything.......
