Glad you had a great time...I watched most of the race today on TV>

Nice pics. This was the first May/June Dover race that my wife and I have missed in 8 years.

Our seats were in turn 3, a great view of the back stretch. We could see everything except pit road.

Nice pics 93! Did you get the headphones on and listen in to your driver? Looks like the guy in front of you had his on.

In my opinion, the best driver to listen to is Dale Earnhardt Jr, especially when he is having a bad day. He bitches and swears constantly, it's hilarious. There was one race where he didn't like the tires. He went on and on about how Goodyear's tires sucked and that the ride was so bumpy his ass was falling asleep.

My favorite to listen to as well. Busch brothers were fun also.

Yeah guys, I've been scanning for probably close to 15 years now and going to Dover as long as I can remember, probably since 1975 or so. My family has had 8 season tickets since the track opened in 1969 and held only 22,000 people (vs 140,000 now).

Jr. is in fact my guy, so I listen to him every race. I monitor the MRN radio broadcast with Jr's frequency set as priority break-in, so I don't miss any of his transmissions.

Today was very interesting with Jr's new crew chief Lance McGrew. There was far more technical information being passed to Junior than when Tony Eury Jr. was calling the shots. The guy was obviously better than Eury. He also kept Jr. much calmer than normal (yep 86, I remember all the blowups you mentioned).

Jr. only dropped one F-bomb all day! It probably didn't hurt that Rick Hendrick was sitting on his pit box most of the day.
