Re: 2019 NASCAR/INDYCAR/F1

Goddamn NASCAR. They could have gotten the race started at around 11 PM last night or or 11 AM today. The weather (weather.com, accuweather.com) for the worst threat of rain between 2-4 PM. 1 PM start was idiotic. Sure enough 3:15 they have to stop the race due to an approaching thunderstorm. Just ...

Re: Wealth gaps between different ethnic groups

There is a huge wage differential between those who are smart and work hard and those who aren't and don't. And race, age, sex or any other variable is meaningless.

Victims were 3 ODU engineering grads and one business admin. Concern for the shooter is at a low ebb.

Didn't vote for Trump or Clinton in 2016. Instead voted for myself and we are all very fortunate I didn't win. But if nothing changes between now and November 2020 I will be forced to vote for Trump despite my personal dislike of him. There is not one opponent on the Democrat side that can be taken ...

After watching the qualifying races it obvious NASCAR is all about the numbers.

500 miles.

200 laps.

40 cars.

1 single line of traffic.

Coma inducing.

Gotta find something else to do on Sundays!

The worst thing you can do is listen/watch one of these speeches. Even the most godawful idea can sound reasonable if delivered correctly. Read the speech and think about it as you go. Been my strategy for more years than I'll admit to.

I don't know which one in the photo is our Governor Northam but I'd bet the other guy is an evil Republican who should be hunted down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Or at least hounded till the day he dies. Isn't that right Ralph?

Re: How Long Will The Shutdown Last? (Dec 2018)

Looking at various govt websites some still appear to be working/current, others have posted notices about how info may not be up to date due to the shutdown, and still others, like energystar.gov, have all info blocked. I find it odd that I can still find out about any USDA program but can't look ...
