See, the difference is, I've been a McCain supporter since 1994. I've always liked the man. And no, I DON'T think he'll be McSame or McBush....I had to plug my nose in 2000 and 2004 because Bush wasn't who I wanted representing my party, but he was certainly better than the alternative. And I learned in 1992 (after voting for Ross Perot) that wasting a vote CAN put an idiot in the white house (i.e., Clinton). I'm not about to make THAT mistake again. I understand the moral dilema here, but if NC is even remotely close, I'd hate to think that I helped put Obama in the white house by wasting a vote on Barr. So, at this point when McCain picks up Virginia (currently tied) and Colorado goes red (which it has handily the last two elections) It's John McCain, President of the United States.
