It's not the reprters or the in the know guests so much as some of the reports from the street and I know they are in a desperate situation but you either do your work to get what you want or you don't.
It is not Obama's place to try and put someone in place or model their government for them. I think Obama did a pretty good job the way he has handled this so far but you can kind of see a common thread developing with some of the anti Mubarek crowd can't ya?
I can certainly understand their sentiment, given how many billions Mubarak's regime has received from us over the years.
That money went to the military and the military is well liked or at least respected by the masses. It was given to them to bolster their safety in a region that it is sorely needed and is for them.
The intent of that money has never been to bolster Mubarek's actions against his own people from what I can tell. The military would not be well respected if they had acted as Mubarek's henchmen either from what I get out of it.
As I said they are in a desperate situation but Obama has done what he can to stick his neck out so far as I can tell for them.
Look how much shit you get yourself into trying to change a government in Iraq that the people did not do on their own. You want the people to make this happen then help them when they do accomplish it to have the democratic style government where they can vote and have their voice.
It was not very many but there was some of that kind of "they should have done more earlier" type of thing.
