It’s as though Manafort’s convictions never happened and he was never Trump’s campaign manager.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 5:23 am Mary McCord is the person who's been driving a lot of the effort against Trump. She was involved in Russia Collusion and Ukraine impeachment.
You should see the list she's been in on. It's impressive. She seems to be anywhere she's needed to harass Trump.
Its nice when a person finds their calling in life, and pursuing criminals is a noble profession, no?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 5:23 am Mary McCord is the person who's been driving a lot of the effort against Trump. She was involved in Russia Collusion and Ukraine impeachment.

Manafort's crimes, which were previously declined to prosecute by the FBI, were for his lobbying for Ukraine. FARA related. Not Russia collusion.kalm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 5:51 amIt’s as though Manafort’s convictions never happened and he was never Trump’s campaign manager.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 5:23 am Mary McCord is the person who's been driving a lot of the effort against Trump. So Manafort is a friend of Ukrainian independence? Who knew?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 6:22 amManafort's crimes, which were previously declined to prosecute by the FBI, were for his lobbying for Ukraine. FARA related. Not Russia collusion.
Was interesting to see one of his partner during his Ukraine dealings, Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary's campaign director, get to simply close up shop and walk away.
Not so fast! If I remember correctly, he took $40 million from a Russian oligarch to lobby for the pro Russian Ukrainian President at the time.. So he really supports Putin!kalm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 6:42 amSo Manafort is a friend of Ukrainian independence? Who knew?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 6:22 am

You do know he’s a convicted felon and the Senate Intelligence committee found he was connected to Russian intelligence? You also know that Yanukovych was a Russian puppet?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 6:48 amNot so fast! None of this is disputed.
So? Same thing with Al Capone.
No ties to Russia…at all!

“Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort passed internal Trump campaign information to a Russian intelligence officer during the 2016 election, a new bipartisan Senate report concludes.
The findings draw a direct line between the president's former campaign chairman and Russian intelligence during the 2016 campaign.
Manafort, who was later convicted for financial fraud crimes, briefed Russian intelligence officer Konstantin Kilimnik on the campaign's polling data and how the Trump campaign sought to beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.
Manafort's connection with Kilimnik was a "grave counterintelligence threat," the report reads, adding that it found evidence the Russian intelligence officer may have been linked to the Russian government's efforts to hack and leak Democratic Party emails.“
Huh?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:26 amkalm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:10 am

Now that's doubling down! Using the debunked Russia collusion angle in a thread exposing that the FBI wants to put the lid on those same Russia collusion documents!
There was no collusion. That's a blue-anon conspiracy that Trump's really guilty, just not enough.kalm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:48 amHuh?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:26 am

Collusion only wasn’t proven to the extent that Trump could be convicted. And that conviction would have been just the political prosecution.

Remember those Russian hackers? They took the FBI to court and the FBI backed down because they knew they wouldn't survive discovery.
Manafort got busted on tax charges the FBI previously refused to prosecute him over. His stuff predated Trump as well.
Former FBI Washington Field Office Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tim Thibault was reportedly escorted out of the bureau on Friday, amid whistleblower allegations that he showed political bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations.
Same thing Hillary was going to do with the 33,000 emails she deleted and the hard drives she had destroyed when found out?houndawg wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 12:12 pmYou don't even believe that drivel yourself.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:55 am
