For some people it is their line in the sand that they need to toe.
JSO will probably blindly dismiss it as some sort of alt-right propaganda because it wasn't "peer reviewed" or something, but it is the only in depth study I've seen that not only measured the health, but also the economic and societal consequences from lockdown policies.

He also seems to keep missing that we've studied ALL this for many years before Covid and "the experts" simply threw out all that knowledge for unsubstantiated bullshit.

90% of folks around here are still wearing masks indoors (grocery, mall, etc). I'm not one of them.

We are required to wear masks indoors for 3 more days around the Seattle area. March 12th is our VOC Day (victory over Covid). Probably have a military parade like in the old days.

Big shift from last week here, hardly see masks anymore, a few here and there. Church was the big difference, tons of people last week with masks, this week just the very old (and not all the old). Like I said, work ditched the masks last week and even had some people who had been working remotely the whole time finally come back to work.

Nah. It’s just funny how for most of my life, we were (sanctimoniously) told how the right held the moral high ground. They obviously never really did, but it was a cool story. :thumb:

What did Cleets used to say? If males could get pregnant there’d be on-demand abortion in every airport and strip mall…or something like that.

My dad is this way. Practically wears his mask off his face and thinks he's protected. How is that good for those susceptible, to keep propagating the myth masking is going to save them?

Kind of like how we were told our whole lives that Dems were the party of women’s rights, unless there’s it has to do with a transgender, ability to get pregnant, ability to nurse, ability to have a period, etc., etc….they are systematically destroying the identity of the female subspecies all while claiming to be a bastion of champion of women’s rights.

What do you want me to say? That he is a hypocrite (he is)? He does not represent the majority of the party, just like AOCH does not represent the majority of the Democratic party. So congratulations on falling back on the JSO argument of using outliers/cherry picking to support a case.

I have meet about the same number of Republicans that are Pro-abortion as I have meet Democrats that are Pro-life. They are out there but they are in a minority. Hypocrites are everywhere and in every party/organization. I do not use them as a basis of judgment for their particular brand of beliefs but look at the general population as a whole. But then you knew that and were just drumming up business.
