Nice try at rewriting history. Rittenhouse was there to protect a car dealership due to BLM setting cars on fire. Idiots couldn't simply leave him alone.
Forget banning guns. Ban Honda Pilots.
Rittenhouse was originally guarding a car dealership. He left that spot because he went to extinguish a fire (he had a fire extinguisher). After that, he tried to return to his original spot, but it was now blocked by police. So Rittenhouse started walking his way to a different car dealership when he was attacked.
As he was running away, he was yelling, " Friendly, Friendly, Friendly". It was when he entered that second lot and that he was attacked by his chaser, who had threatened him earlier in the night, that he defended himself. It didn't help someone fired a shot in the air while Rittenhouse was running.
At this point Rittenhouse starting running towards police to let them know what happened when he was attacked a second time. Remember the guy hitting him with the skateboard?
So on one hand, we have Rittenhouse trying to prevent the burning of a car dealership and minding his own business. On the Good side, we have a dipshit who impeded law enforcement from doing their duty.
This is about as far apart as two stories can be.
