Don't quote me on it but there was an article last week stating that most of the people arrested at these protests either didn't vote or weren't registered to vote. I forget which one.

They're concerned about low immigrant IQ test scores and think national IQ determines economic success, they think different ethnicities have unequally-distributed genes for intelligence and genius. They think immigration is a form of white genocide. They are an anti-egalitarian (egalitarian in the sense that you use the word) ideology. You would probably agree with some of their tenets and credos.

I won't disagree that race is an issue that turned the turbines in this election, but there is a difference between opposing miscegenation and supporting segregation and being fed up with the "systemic racism" crap being shoved down your throat after incidents like those at Ferguson, MIzzou, and Baltimore.

Stewart has always been somewhat even-stevens about his comedy. Sure, he leans left more often than not, especially during his heyday in the Bush years, but he's typically not been as over the top as a Bill Maher type. The latter really exudes a genuine despising for anyone on the other side of the political spectrum. It's that type that has really helped to create the liberal elite that this election, partially, rebelled against.
