I think most of the media are liberal and that influences their behavior. That is probably a factor. However, I also think Trump's own behavior is a factor. He either lies a lot or he is often out of touch with reality or a combination of the two. Bottom line is that he makes a lot of false Statements; many times for no apparent reason. Then he challenges the media by saying THEY are the ones making the false statements when they call him on it.
