Ultimately, we believe right to try gives the Trump administration a political win on a popular public policy but will do little to change the status quo for terminally ill patients. Some opponents say, if anything, it could give terminally ill patients false hope for new access to drugs they already can obtain through existing FDA policy.
Even if right to try does simplify federal regulation, patients must still convince a reticent pharmaceutical industry to provide drugs outside of trials, and patients must still bear the costs for these experimental treatments, which is out of reach for almost all Americans.
The right to try legislation will score the president and members on both sides of the aisle in Congress points, but ultimately it will change little for terminally ill patients and their families.

You're over-analyzing
I'm saying the ACA never should have passed in the first place
everything that was predicted to be wrong with it has <FLASH> turned out to be correct
its too bad the Democrats don't tolerate dissent in their own caucus - maybe if they had been willing to disagree with their President the way the GOP has, we wouldnt be trying to fix a system that is more broken now than it was before
so basically - I'm opposed to the ACA. Try not to hurt anything reading mire into it than that
oh and Democrats own it

I think such an analysis would probably end up pretty inconclusive because the exit polls suggest that both very low IQ voters and very high IQ voters tended to vote for Clinton.Ivytalk wrote:Not really. But I don't think there's any doubt that the overwhelming majority of highly intelligent people voted for Clinton.
And if you say something like "Thank you Jesus" for Trump you are an idiot. I don't think there's any need for a sophisticated analysis to reach that conclusion. And, again, I think you know that.
