Would Decriminalizing Drugs Help or Hurt???

Amsterdam has done well with it's drug position. It's legal to use, a misdemeanor to be caught with. I definetly think we have more important things to worry about. Decriminalizing it should also free the non violent drug users in prison.

There is a whole economy worth hundreds of billions of dollars from arms dealers to prison companies that depends on the status quo.

Seriously, if the power structure were for real about the war on drugs they'd get all those off-shore bankers in a room and say "Boys, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but one way or another you're going to stop laundering drug money.....". (At which point every member of Congress would blanche at the thought of their slush fund dwindling away to nothing).
