If the virus is being spread through ductwork (literally in the air), I imagine that's a whole different scenario to deal with.
Yeah, I was thinking about that (HVAC). But it's no different than using a convention center. And I'm guessing the gym would be on a different system than other parts of the school (although maybe not the locker rooms).
Well I'll be damned, I was just put on a team to convert the convention center in DC to a hospital.
Obviously not the primary designer since I have no experience, but as support staff for another firm since the turnaround time is insane.
I'll let you know how they do it when we're done. My initial run through of the scope seems like it'll be taking the existing system, and running air into negatively pressurized, pre-manufactured pods with their own HEPA system already built-in. Then that air goes through another HEPA system as it's returned back to the existing units (or discharged to the roof).
