Ummmm…Vance said they were taking houses. Do you think they popped across the border and took out a 30 year mortgage? Or maybe increased demand for rentals increased home prices?

Regardless, I’ll take the R position on immigrants seriously when they begin jailing illegal employers. Of course that might hurt donations to R’s and Trump.

Ummmm…Vance said they were taking houses. Do you think they popped across the border and took out a 30 year mortgage? Or maybe increased demand for rentals increased home prices?

While the majority of illegals are renters, they do buy houses. Anecdotal: 2 houses down from me there is a guy from Mexico & his family (wife & teenage daughter) who ‘bought‘ the 3 BR rowhome 3 years ago. Except the listed owner is an LLC with the same address as the restaurant this guy worked for (at least used to). He told me he‘s Mexican and someone “helped him with the paperwork“

Now multiply that by a few hundred thousand across the country (or a million or 2).
