And therefore the solution is to radically change our economy and double our debt.

:dunce:
We radically changed our economy in the late 90’s through deregulation. It’s gone swimmingly ever since.

No one cares about debt.
It was also radically changed in the 80's with Reagan's voodoo economics that accelerated the income divide.

The income divide only ever gets smaller when we're in a recession or depression. If we have any economic growth, the income divide increases. Any time we have positive growth, those who have more end up with more than those who have less. I know math is hard, but if I take 10 and 100, and I increase both by 10%, what was 90 apart at the start is now 99 apart. Both grew 10%, but now the "divide" between them is greater. You're blaming Reagan for growing the economy and calling it a bad thing. Why do you hate everyone being better off than they were before the economy grew? :coffee:

My all time favorite list also includes C.W. McCall - Wolf Creek Pass and Convoy.

The apparent gap between news sources is astounding. I mean Trump could eventually still be proven completely innocent and the election proven to be truly stolen I suppose but it isn’t the way this is trending. Or at least to be so cocksure regarding the irrelevance of it.

Perhaps it was a matter of degrees. Little, tiny, or ineffective coups are ok…or something.

Attempted coups of the last few years:
  1. January 6 / vote decertification
  2. The AnTiFa Riots of 2020
  3. Attempts to amend or get rid of the Electoral College without following the prescribed process for changes to the Constitution.
Illiberals have 2 of the 3 I listed and the 3rd is IMO the most insidious of the three.

Am I missing any? Maybe open borders or allowing non-citizens to vote?

Russian Collusion - I mean Trump was a patsy to start with with and electing a person beholden to another country (especially Russian) has to count as some threat to democracy.

Good catch. 3 out of 4 of the most recent coup attempts belong to constituents of the Dems.
