Jan 6th was about overturning a legitimate election and installing a dictator (Trump). Anyone that believes otherwise is either a fool, or a traitor to America.
Trump planned multiple ways to try to overturn the election, from using the military, to getting Pence to not certify it, to having fake electors in close states.
Fortunately, the military and Pence wouldn't play along.

It was also radically changed in the 80's with Reagan's voodoo economics that accelerated the income divide.

The income divide only ever gets smaller when we're in a recession or depression. If we have any economic growth, the income divide increases. Any time we have positive growth, those who have more end up with more than those who have less. I know math is hard, but if I take 10 and 100, and I increase both by 10%, what was 90 apart at the start is now 99 apart. Both grew 10%, but now the "divide" between them is greater. You're blaming Reagan for growing the economy and calling it a bad thing. Why do you hate everyone being better off than they were before the economy grew?

That is a great song.

My all time favorite list also includes C.W. McCall - Wolf Creek Pass and Convoy.

The apparent gap between news sources is astounding. I mean Trump could eventually still be proven completely innocent and the election proven to be truly stolen I suppose but it isn’t the way this is trending. Or at least to be so cocksure regarding the irrelevance of it.Baldy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:40 pmIf you think a few dozen unarmed rednecks rioting at the Capitol was some sort of coup attempt, then you're even dumber than I've given you credit for...dbackjon wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 5:33 pm

Russian Collusion - I mean Trump was a patsy to start with with and electing a person beholden to another country (especially Russian) has to count as some threat to democracy.UNI88 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 4:15 pmAttempted coups of the last few years:kalm wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 4:01 pm
