I didn't and likely won't make time today to read through 383 pages of commentary on this.

Dude got it twice. First time was rough, second time was worse...
By early December, Keenan ended up in the ER. “If stayed in the hospital, they said, ‘Okay, we can keep you here, but you’re fighting 12 other people for a bed and a ventilator we don’t have, so what do you want to do?’” Keenan recalled.

“There’s nothing you can do other than treat the symptom, so for a real cough medicine, not the crap over-the-counter and then like an inhaler, and some antibiotics to fight the pneumonia and strap the f— in,” he added.

Following his initial battle with COVID, Keenan blasted “arrogant” Americans who willfully ignore public health guidelines. “I knew what I went through and I know what I’m still going through, so I would recommend that you take this seriously, but I feel like that’s just going to fall on deaf ears,” he said. “It’s just going to be a polarized, politicized statement, so it’s pointless. In that case, I’m just going to worry about keeping my family safe and keeping my friends safe.”

Huh. Interesting study from 2005. They all knew HCQ was effective.

https://virologyj.biomedcentral.com/art ... -422X-2-69
Conclusion
Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

Well, one negative about Trump was that anything he was for was automatically deemed anathema and you had to be against it to be considered acceptable. And while Trump was wrong about a lot of stuff, he, like a broken clock, did occasionally stumble onto something that was correct. In our rush for political purism and gotcha headlines, we did swing and miss on some things, like this one for instance.

The folks on SI.com are some of the biggest doomsayers I've ever read. You get the idea these folks are rooting for infections and deaths of sports athletes. Constantly saying the only way to go is in bubbles, and if bubbles don't work then everything should be shut down. Once it was clear the NFL was going to make it to the finish line, they've moved back to the NBA as the poster child of hopefully fumbling this and crashing due to COVID.

Yes, but the really stupid thing about it is all that research was out there, but in the MSM rush to mock all things Trump NOBODY bothered to look it up (or care). And they wonder why conservatives were so tired of the lies....

We now know the China Virus likely leaked from the Wuhan lab, because the WHO, after meeting with their Chinese handlers, said it didn't..

Is there a reason we can't call it the China virus but we can refer to the UK and South African variant?

South Carolina just passed Minnesota in Case Count, but they are far and away ahead in active cases. Minnesota is at it's lowest Active case count since before the Fall surge.

Saw that. The "hey no need to investigate it here in China any further because it didn't come from here" is basically a big ass sign saying, "Yes, it started here."
A World Health Organization team investigating the origins of the COVID-19 virus in Wuhan, China announced Tuesday that the virus was likely spread from an animal to humans, calling a theory that the virus was released in a lab accident “extremely unlikely.”

Because the WHO is totally reliable at this point. :dunce:
