The cyclists that do the TOSRV every year from Missoula up through Seeley etc. should be fucking mowed down because they are the most inconsiderate fucking douches I've came across on a road.kalm wrote:Seagriz shared this on Facebook...

According to the article, they are and to the same extent as everyone else.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:All bicycles should be taxed and licensed if they are using roads or bike paths built with tax dollars.
Just like:
Trucks
cars
motorcycles
trailers
ATVs

Yeah and on that very same stretch of road there are countless inconsiderate douches who speed and attempt to pass when they have no business doing so, putting other people at risk. So I guess what I'm saying is inconsiderate douches are going to be inconsiderate douches regardless of what conveyance they're using.Ursus A. They will take up as much room as they feel like while cars line up behind them. Fuck them assholes.

Bicycles are not licensed or taxed like vehicles in Montana.kalm wrote:According to the article, they are and to the same extent as everyone else.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:All bicycles should be taxed and licensed if they are using roads or bike paths built with tax dollars.

Read the link in the article. One of the main points is that the cyclists are also motorists and road funding comes from many sources.Vidav wrote:Bicycles are not licensed or taxed like vehicles in Montana.kalm wrote:

That is fine but I am telling you as person who used to deal with licensing and taxing of vehicle for 10 years nothing is required of bicycles. It was a very common question we got.kalm wrote:Read the link in the article. One of the main points is that the cyclists are also motorists and road funding comes from many sources.Vidav wrote:

The point in the article is that funds come from other places. Yes cyclists pay income taxes etc. But they do not have to be registered in Montana, which was the point of the post you quoted.kalm wrote:Read the link in the article. Good call. Being on a bike is the only time people don't feel sorry for you for wearing your helmet.JohnStOnge wrote:You know just today it was such a beautiful Spring day that I rode my 1983 Schwinn World Sport around for about an hour.

Fucking A! I had a red World Sport. It was the bike that hooked me on cycling.JohnStOnge wrote:You know just today it was such a beautiful Spring day that I rode my 1983 Schwinn World Sport around for about an hour.

Sweet rant.CAA Flagship wrote:This is awesome. I have been complaining about this for years. Our tax dollars go into building bike trails yet these assholes in tights with sponsors plastered all over them want to hold up traffic on the roads. Fuck them.

You don't fucking scare me, pal. Fuck cyclists and the bike they rode in on. I hope they go the way of wolves.SeattleGriz wrote:By the way, some of you bitches need to chill on hating cyclists. Remember when I challenged Clenz to a death match and he backed down. Exactly.

If they're Montana residents they more than likely also drive cars and pay other assorted taxes which go to roads. If they are non-residents, they don't. Which would be true of non-resident motorists as well.Vidav wrote:The point in the article is that funds come from other places. Yeah, nothing like having to drive really slowly because some asshole cyclist is in the road instead of on the shoulder. Fuckers.AZGrizFan wrote:You don't fucking scare me, pal.
