To the earlier point about our FG kicker, yes, our kicker has range to 51 yards.

But when he's made FG's of that distance, it's been in good conditions. In a night game in wet weather with a temperature right around 50 and a little windy, a 51 yard field goal in a 6 point game, especially when you've up 19 straight, I'm sorry, thats not a very good idea.

But hey, as you said, wilder was handing out coaching lessons all night long so we can forgive him 1 bad decision.

TD and Goodwyn have ankle injuries. Harper had a "slight headache" after getting hit and I'm guessing they didn't want to take any risks, especially since it was a possible concussion and you don't wanna mess around when it involves the head/brain. I'm sure we'll find out more later tomorrow.

I think Goodwyn may be hurt pretty bad, this could be a re-injured ankle.

Razor, when we were down in the Ga Dome a few weeks ago, our kicker was hitting 62 yd FGs. The staff has a ton a confidence in our kicking game. I thought the miss tonight was tipped near the line. The field was in good shape, no rain.

Yeah clenz the games against UMASS count for their opponents but not for UMASS. At least that's what I read. UMASS players are eligible for individual conference awards.

BTW, I ran into an older couple at a store in Norfolk today that were both totally deck out in their UNI apparel. I got their pic and will post it on the fcs sightings thread when I get a chance.

Am I correct that ODU runs the hurry up offense all the time, and anyone who spent even a few minutes reviewing film of ODU would have known to be prepared for that? .

You'd have to be willfully ignorant not to see that ODU never huddles. Ever.
