To the earlier point about our FG kicker, yes, our kicker has range to 51 yards.

But when he's made FG's of that distance, it's been in good conditions. In a night game in wet weather with a temperature right around 50 and a little windy, a 51 yard field goal in a 6 point game, especially when you've up 19 straight, I'm sorry, thats not a very good idea.

But hey, as you said, wilder was handing out coaching lessons all night long so we can forgive him 1 bad decision.

Harper had a "slight headache" after getting hit and I'm guessing they didn't want to take any risks, especially since it was a possible concussion and you don't wanna mess around when it involves the head/brain. I'm sure we'll find out more later tomorrow.

I think Goodwyn may be hurt pretty bad, this could be a re-injured ankle.

Razor, when we were down in the Ga Dome a few weeks ago, our kicker was hitting 62 yd FGs. The staff has a ton a confidence in our kicking game. I thought the miss tonight was tipped near the line. The field was in good shape, no rain.

Yeah clenz the games against UMASS count for their opponents but not for UMASS. At least that's what I read. UMASS players are eligible for individual conference awards.

BTW, I ran into an older couple at a store in Norfolk today that were both totally deck out in their UNI apparel. I got their pic and will post it on the fcs sightings thread when I get a chance.

That's what I thought for the records.

I had planned on getting out to the ODU/UNI basketball game in November, but that has less than a 2% chance happening right now.

You'd have to be willfully ignorant not to see that ODU never huddles. Ever.

Thought this was complimentary from a UMass fan, wish them luck going forward.

"Was at ODU for the game - what a difference from being in Amherst! Nice stadium, great fans and unbelieveable team spirit - something I've never seen at UMass in 40+ years of going to Alumni Stadium."

Looks like ODU and Towson picked a good year to start coming into their own. :thumb:

Our match up should be epic!

"Yes, well, Towson actually."

However, I will be forced to call ODUsmitty my daddy after they kick our asses in two weeks.
FIFY. As nice as it is for you to have beated 'Nova, the fact remains that we play this game at Foreman Field, and, well, you are still Towson.

ANdy-

Hasn't ODU won as many league games in two weeks as Towson has won in two years?

Seriously, I hope we show up at URI on Saturday. If we can overcome that challenge, the Towson/ODU will be lots of fun. - and will mean something!
