They have to beat history to start with. The Tigers haven't made the post-season two years in a row since 1944-1945. I'm hoping that changes this year.

That pennant race got me hooked. The Twins had to win 1 game against the Red Sox and didn't. Tigers and Twins finished 1 game out and White Sox 3...........and Yankees 20 games out.

More for my parents than for me. I was 6 when the '67 riots occurred, and thought it was kind of cool having soldiers all over the place. It sucked not being able to go outside and play though.
