In other news, Arsenal put the smack down on Portsmouth, 4-1. Another undefeated season in the works for the Gunners?

In fact they are in a three way tie with the other two teams who were regulated last year, WBA and Middlesbrough

Tottenham Hotspur are looking very strong so far this year. Could they be the team that shakes up the Big 4?

when your squad was relegated after the season from hell, you look for whatever sign of optimism you can find...

I miss Michael Owen - and it kills me to see him playing for the Red Devil's... :shake:

They're mediocre, at best, without Ronnie, Ferdinand and Tevez. :coffee:

Chelsea stomps Burnley and Tottenham steals one at the end as both teams continue their hot starts to the season.

Arsenal are the better squad this year, and it'll show by season's end.

The red card did not cost Arsenal the match

There wasn't a red card....just a yellow on the Arsenal keeper Almunia which resulted in a penalty kick for Rooney...

But it shouldn't have been called anyways because Rooney had no chance of getting the ball after he scuffed it into the stands...

Fletcher, Foster, Giggs, Carrick and Valencia looked like shit (i seriously think Giggs was hungover or something because he couldn't stop or pass a single ball well. Foster looked scared shitless in goal all day)..

And it's kind of funny that Diaby was the best player on either team...he's the only player that could score a legit goal for ManUre!!

Of course. Because there wasn't a red card.

You didn't even watch the match, did you?

No I didn't, I dont have cable.... but I follow the game tracker on the UK Yahoo site.... in the 95th minute just before it ended they flashed a red card on the tracker about someone kicking a water bottle... I assumed the red card previously mentioned was that, which if it was indeed did not cost Arsenal the match. I guess though from your other post the other person was probably talking about something else in which he mistakenly though a red card was issued.
