William and Mary up 14-0 on Stony Brook at halftime and it could have easily been 21-0. William and Mary's QB took a terrible sack inside the SB 5 yard line with under 15 secs left and no timeouts and they couldn't get set up in time to spike. Complete bonehead play all around. Bad play call and the line didn't block the SB player who wrapped up the W&M QB and drove him back about 15 yds and laid on him.

I never got the hype behind them.

I know people like Kramer, and what he can do, and they had a couple fans that would pump them up. The reality is they beat up on sub D1 programs and thankfully the Big Sky didn't/doesn't play defense and could steal a couple wins.

They aren't near a top 25 team.

They aren't near a top 25 team.

Losing to UNLV like that means they may not even be a top-100 team. I'm not a Kramer fan, but they have the personnel to be way better than this (even with Mario Jenkins injured). They don't look any better than the pre-2014 Bengal teams right now.

That just sucks, they had 5-6 pre season all Americans, they are back at 2012 level, UNLV won't total 80 the rest of the year.

Hornets lose 28-20 to EWU. Respectable showing by the Hornets. Defense gave up a ton of yards but had a bend but not break fashion to it tonight. Hornet offense was ok in the 1st half, then no-showed in the 2nd. Kniffin went down late so we might finally get to see the other QB next week.

The defense does suck, but finally decided to show up in the 2nd half. We're decimated by injuries in several key positions, so this upcoming bye is coming at a great time. If we can get a few guys back between now and the Cal Poly game, we should be ok.

I will say EWU's DL did out play the Hornet OL in the 2nd half...basically the roles reversed as the Hornet OL had their way with them in the 1st half. Kniffin looked awful in the 3rd qtr; over threw wide open WRs, threw others well short. I'm not sure how he got hurt but I'm wondering if something was wrong before he went down late in the game.
