1. Chattanooga - no real argument until someone beats them.
After that is pretty much up for grabs except for VMI at the bottom since they simply refuse to win (except for Morehead obviously)
But here goes nothing
2. Samford - The Chattanooga game was certainly a disappointment and many have dropped Samford down because of it. I am not convinced that when Chattanooga is on their game (which has been mildly schizophrenic)that any teams in the SoCon will do better than Samford. So we will leave Samford there.
3. Wofford - maybe 3 and 4 should switch. Will know more after this week.
4. Furman - Certainly rain the last two weekends have not helped, but if Furman finds the offense they had against CCU. They can compete with the rest of the conference. Defense is stout but you need some offense against the better teams.
5. Citadel - as much as us old timers hate to admit it. Charleston Southern ain't what they used to be.
6. Mercer - too bad the aren't playing at home this week
7. Western Carolina - Honestly not sure the difference between 2 and 7 is that great.
8. VMI needs to figure out how to win.

Wofford at The Citadel. The streak continues unless the Knobs gang tackle the Wofford team as they leave the bus.
Mercer at WCU - I know I have Mercer higher but the home team wins.
Samford at VMI - Not yet for VMI
Furman at Chattanooga. Obviously nothing would please me more than being wrong. Five games 1500 yards. Take out the game against CCU and we have four game 1000 yards. I understand the schedule and the weather. I also understand that the defense can keep us in games but when the competition gets better, the offense is going to have to as well. I am hoping they do (which will mean that this will be a great football game) I fear it won't. Chattanooga seems to play up or down to the competition. I don't think they will be overlooking my Paladins.

Furman at Chattanooga. Mocs D holds Furman to under 200 yards in low-scoring affair.
Wofford at the Citadel. Though the Dogs are fresh off a bye-week, Wofford has shown it can compete on the road. El Cid finds a way to lose.
Mercer at WCU.
Samford at VMI. Easy pick - not sure if VMI will win another game this year.

Bonus - ETSU at bye
