But still, Houston is disgusting.
Hell, you won't get any argument from TEXANS about Houston. The rest of the state, though, is underappreciated.

But there would be very little impact on anybody outside of Norway. If Texas did, we would. And so would everybody else. Not as much as us, but some.

The point is there is no reason to say things about Norway because nobody thinks about Norway. It's just there.
I don't know. Texas is vast and boring. Houston is a dumpster fire. The only city worth a damn is Austin.
Get out to the hill country around New Braunfels.

Texas has a lot of oil and things like world renowned cancer centers and very good public universities. I would be very willing to bet that there are more people from other places going to Texas for advanced medical treatment than there are going to Norway. Also things I happen to know about because I have a deaf son like top centers for Cochlear Implant surgery. There are more people coming from other places in order to go to universities than there are going to Norway. Then there's the oil. Texas is just flat out WAY more important to the world than Norway is.
More opinion disguised as fact. And Norway is doing pretty good for oil too and has universities every bit as good as Texas for a lower price. :thumb:

I understand Texas' economic importance, but I'm pretty sure people in Norway think of Louisiana the same way you feel about Norway. :coffee:

I haven't be to Louisiana, yet, so I can't judge it.
There is a movement to rename the state "Piss".

:suspicious: :suspicious: The music in Austin is decidely NOT country. Just because Austin City Limits is filmed there doesn't mean Austin is a "country" music town. You walk down 6th street on any given night and you'll hear every kind of music imaginable. And very little country.

By this I assume you mean real country as opposed to the drivel from Nashville being marketed under the same name?

Waylon and Willie, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes van Zandt, Bobby Bare......about the only arguments I would entertain for not forcing Mexico to take Texas back.... :coffee:

I feel like this chart is a little misleading. Per capita is important, but the frequency of shootings in the USA makes a big difference. Also the years are super selective, all of Norway's "rampage fatalities" came in the 2011 terrorist attacks, in which Breivik purchased most all of his weapons from Norway, and his ammo from the US. Clearly the discussion of superiority between Norway and Texas is subjective, but I just wanted to talk about this chart :D

What?! Country is shit music but that isn't all that's there. Blues, there's a good Alt scene and bluegrass, as usual, is always a delight to listen to.

You can find so much more than country music in Austin.

And, with a lower population... a single attack attack by a right wing cunt really scews the results.
