The president of the University of Missouri system resigned Monday amid criticism of his handling of student complaints about race and discrimination.

President Tim Wolfe said Monday that his resignation is effective immediately. The announcement came at a special meeting of the university system's governing body, the Board of Curators.

Looks to me like they want a disproportionate number of black people in the faculty. While they're at it, why don't they make their football and basketball programs:
* 62.1% white
* 13.2% black
* 5.4% Asian
* 15.3% hispanic
* 4% other

2. According to them, since the beginning of time.
3. If that were the case, half of the university presidents in the nation would resign every day.

You say your mind was made up based on their demands... ok. 99% sure you didn't know about their demands when you made your first post about them needing to go through proper channels.

This shit has been developing over many months and the students have gone through the proper channels.

This is just ridiculous. If the students have grievances, go through the proper channels. Document the effort. If the administration refuses to hear it, go above them. If that fails, then go it alone. I doubt the students went through all the proper channels.

I'm fairly confident that you hadn't heard of this story before the football team got involved. I sure as hell hadn't.
