Nah, it's fine...this is putting a damper on the trip...although that's being selfish compared to what the victims and families are going through. The place we're staying at is actually a few blocks away from the theater that's been attacked. I imagine security is going to be insane when I go...and that curfew might still be in place (although I doubt it). Hopefully things just don't get worse. I'd like to see Paris at least once before the Muslins completely overtake it. :kisswink:

I know we have a fix for this: Obama will have John Kerry get James Taylor on the first plane to reprise his "You got a friend" diplomacy again.

I was in Paris in 2010 after there were threats against the city. There was a military presence everywhere. It was surreal.

Just more workplace violence and should have no effect on BHO's plan to bring in 10's of thousands of military age Syrian men

The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

Look for Hillary to tell us how she has always been against open borders and bringing in all these potential terrorists from the middle east

Wonder if Merkel has shit her pants yet

It's funny...my parents want me to go now more than ever...and that I'd be a disappointment if I didn't They both lived through the Lebanese Civil War (my mom being shot by a sniper once) and they told me if I don't go, it'd only confirm the spread of fear by the same type of people that they fought to defy years ago.

I think the situation here is a bit different, but I get their point (as cliche as it is).

Syria refugee crisis: U.S. opens centres to speed vetting
Screening outposts to be set up in Iraq, Lebanon as U.S. urges Arab nations to do more

The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, torn by four years of civil war and disorder...."

If the whole world hasn't figured out by now that there should be no acceptance of people whose religion tells them that all people who don't follow it need to be killed, we all deserve what's coming to us.

I don't care how badly it hurts liberal sensitivities. Muslims need to be turned away and contained. Know where they are so you can kill as many of them as needed when necessary.

Hopefully this episode moves the French past their Je Suis Charlie phase and into some form of asskicking, deportation, and forced relocation of muslims. Of course, it's not really in their character to have any spine.

Let's face it: a couple of hundred Frenchies is a small sacrifice to further turn the world against islam.
