SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Against an AFC team though

Let's see how they do this sunday against a possible NFC contender

Eh, the Packers had a bad day, on the road, in a primetime game against an AFC team is very early November. Long way to go until February.

Exactly.
So until another NFC team can step up and take the supposed top spot in the NFC, Green Bay is still the 'best' team in the NFC.
Should be a great game to watch this sunday between GB and Carolina :thumb:

Is anyone really scared of having to play on the road at Carolina? They are top dogs for sure right now in the NFC, but they are hardly an intimidating playoff opponent come January. With Seattle and Green Bay falling back to the pack, the NFC is relatively wide open at this time.

I would much rather play a game in January in Charlotte than Green Bay or Seattle.

No reason to fear playing them in January, they aren't a dominant team. But they are figuring out ways to win. It's been fun keeping up with them this year.

I agree, all kudos to the Panthers, because they do have a very hard hitting defense, a gutty QB, and they do find ways to win. But we agree, they aren't dominant (not like a Green Bay or Seattle of the past few years) so anything is possible come January. Even more imperative for the Eagles just to get into the playoffs - any of the six NFC teams that make the playoffs could win the conference.

Despite all their best efforts (2 missed extra points, late fumble, etc), the Lions won today in Green Bay!

Didn't see an NFL thread so I'll put this here:

I lol'ed when I was watching it live. Only a backup QB can get away with this.
