This game today was the nadir of a season that's rapidly spinning out of control. The Lions should be favored on Thursday. Angelo Cataldi' and Company should be in full-throated negativity in the morning.

This pretty much sums it up (courtesy Mike Sielski, Phila Inquirer):

Where does this leave Kelly? He dared to disassemble a team that had gone 10-6 and remake it by his own unique blueprint. It was a theory with some merit. The Eagles were not an elite team in the NFC last season. They were not in the class of the Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers, the Seattle Seahawks. So Kelly broke them down and tried to rebuild them in a single off-season, and for a franchise that hasn't won a championship since 1960, this new, powerful head coach's unconventional approach was worth a risk.

But now everyone can see the wreckage. Everyone can see that the Eagles are the pushovers. After Sanchez threw his third interception, after linebacker Lavonte Davis returned it for a touchdown, Sanchez and Darren Sproles screamed at each other as they walked to the sideline. This is the team that Chip Kelly created. This is the chaos he has wrought. You wonder how he might fix it, or whether, once this season ends, he will even bother to try.

Just heard that the Philly pro teams are 0 for November at home (and 3-22 overall in Nov).

Eagles - 0-2 (none remaining) (1-2 overall in Nov)
76ers - 0-6 (none remaining) (0-12 overall in Nov)
Flyers - 0-4 (Carolina and Nashville remaining) (2-8 overall in Nov)

I'm glad that whole Phillies success thing blew over. We were getting in unfamiliar territory there for a few years.
