Despite the fact that colleges have historically existed to provide knowledge, the opportunity to meet new people from different cultures and ethnicities, and encourage creative thought, colleges are now allowing their students to deprive them of the ability to prepare their students for life outside of academia due to political correctness.

You don't get it...these folks want life outside academia to be exactly like life inside academia...and it is headed that way because more people have been trained to believe they are victims.

Sure...because conformity is controlling and comforting to the masses.

That's the troublesome part. It's seeped into every part of our lives...work, sports.

Young employees will sometimes say to me "I heard you yelled at so-and-so". Now, I've never yelled at an employee in my life. In a kalm voice, in private, I provided feedback or corrected a behavior. But to these hurt puppies that's "yelled at".

Now my sons are a different story. I TOTALLY yell at them.

"Dad, why are you yelling at me? You don't have to be mean and yell!"

"I'm yelling at you because the first 5 times I asked you to wake up and get ready for school, you ignored me and the 6th time you yelled at ME. So I'm yelling at you because you're going to miss the bus and I'm going to have to drive you to school. And all of that pisses me the fuck off!"

(I haven't told them yet that it's really because I don't get to yell at people at work )

At least my boys will grow up knowing what yelling really is.
