Won't happen. We're all going to get together next weekend in Portland celebrating the fact that the two Big Sky teams knocked off the two Valley heavies this week.Vidav wrote:If Montana and UNI both win they play each other. How is hosting determined for that since neither team is seeded? Is it another bid like in the first round?

Yeah, I'm sure the guy with one whole post is gonna be the only one on here tomorrow.Huuszoo wrote:This reminds me of being on that message board when all those jokers from Kansas explained how they were going to dominate the Bison. Clean air, home field advantage, and a lutefisk dinner is all the Bison will need to put the hammer down on the Griz. I'll come back on tomorrow to discuss game, but I suppose none of the Griz fans will be here?!

Take some advice from someone who doesn't have a horse in this race. Be nice to the Griz fans and they will be nice to you. Should the Bison win, they will be the first to congratulate you. But if the Griz win, they will give it back to you tenfold.Huuszoo wrote:This reminds me of being on that message board when all those jokers from Kansas explained how they were going to dominate the Bison. By the way, you ain't in Kansas no more.

Terrible start for the Griz. 14-0 early in the second. Griz offense unable to do anything.

The Grizzlies last game indoors, against Idaho State, they looked pretty terrible as well, yet they were able to get the win.Vidav wrote:Terrible start for the Griz. 14-0 early in the second. Griz offense unable to do anything.

21-0 NDSU at half. Griz offense playing like shit.
Re: Montana @ NDSU, the Rubber Match
Griz should have never made the playoffs.
They suck.

Re: Montana @ NDSU, the Rubber Match
Terrible, out-of-sync performance by the Griz offense. NDSU played good D, but UM helped them out a ton with all the wild throws & miscommunications. The defense played well enough that Montana might've still had a chance if not for the 3 non-offensive touchdowns.
NDSU only went something like 1/12 on third down. If you told me that without telling me the final score, I would've assumed the Griz knocked them off.

I was afraid the road Griz from most of the season might show up, and they did. Just an ugly offensive performance.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Terrible, out-of-sync performance by the Griz offense. Wow. I watched the first half and felt bad for the Griz fans. That was nasty. Too many turnovers.

It looks like Jamaal Jones finished 8 yards shy of Marc Mariani's UM career receiving record, which really has to sting when you consider that dropped 4th. down pass in the fourth quarter.

Montana should not have been given a bid, they should have lost to ISU except Bungles can't kick a fg.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I can't wait to see how this game plays out.Cluck U wrote:So much butt hurt in you.Grizalltheway wrote:Your shtick got old a long time ago. Stop trying so hard.
It took a miracle for the Griz to win by 3 in the cozy confines of Grizzyworld.
This time the game is at NDSU.
Big difference.
And, you got outscored 17-0 in the second half of Saturday's game.
No reason to believe the Griz will survive.
I'll actually be rooting for you guys...but I don't think you'll win. I think NDSU will grind you down with their run game while their D and the noise will force your QB into turnovers.
When does it start?

Stick either had a bad game or he is a rather blah QB. I'm going with blah. Missed some wide open passes.Cluck U wrote:Inside/outside as in, indoors/outdoors, or inside/outside as in, inside the hash marks/outside the hash marks?ming01 wrote:
Stick has performed a lot better inside. Inconsistent throwing the ball outside
If it is the former, does he not have good rotation and ball velocity? If it is the latter, does he not have good vision over the middle...is he a short QB or simply gets confused looking through the wall of players?
NDSU is beatable...but the dome is protecting them for now.
The chipper will be interesting.

Re: Montana @ NDSU, the Rubber Match
You can see how one-dimensional he is compared to Wentz. NDSU's offense was clearly less effective yesterday than it was in Missoula in August. The lousy Montana offense & kick coverage made that irrelevant to the outcome, but it's a worthwhile point to make heading into NDSU's game with UNI.Cluck U wrote:Stick either had a bad game or he is a rather blah QB. That's why I'm gonna root—despite clenz's objections—for Illinois State and their talented felon at running back.NDSU is beatable...but the dome is protecting them for now.
